Vietnam visa requirements for travel

Unless you are citizen of visa-exempt countries, you can not have a holiday in Vietnam without applying for a tourist visa in advance. For those who are unclear about how to get a Vietnam tourist visa, this article will make it clear to you.

Nowadays, not many people like to obtain a Vietnam visa at the embassy because they don’t want to waste valuable time in preparing documents and spend transportation cost to go to the embassy, especially if they live far from it.

With a view to helping foreigners obtain Vietnam visa easier, Vietnam Government have offered Vietnam visa on arrival program,  which increasingly becomes popular for travelers. Under the program, the applicants just need to fill out only one visa application form online to register the visa. The visa then will be picked up at arrival airport.  The complete procedure of visa on arrival is described in 4 steps belows.

-   Fill out visa application form online correctly

-   Pay visa processing fee through our secure payment gateway

-   Obtain visa approval letter by email within 2 working days or less

-   Present the printed letter, completed entry and exit form, original passport, 01 passport photo and stamping fee to get a visa stamp at arrival airport and pick up your tourist visa

Please take note that visa on arrival is not valid if you travel to Vietnam by land or sea. In this case, you are supposed to obtain tourist visa at the nearest Vietnam Embassy in your country. Read instructions on how to get Vietnam visa at embassy here.
